Tonight we went grocery shopping at Sam's club. It has been awhile, and our refrigerator was beginning to look quite sparse. It was such a good time! It's fun now - we have a rythem to the shopping. Jon reminds me to check if I have the list right before we leave, and half the time I don't, and then I find it, and then we leave. Once we are at Sam's we both remember to grab our grocery bags, as we used to forget, but now we remember. We know where to go to get our staples - and even just the fact that we now have "staples" is romantic. We know what we usually get, cook, and eat, and remember not to purchase the items we thought we'd eat, but then didn't. Then we check out, put the groceries in the cart, and then bag them by the food court - having discovered that this method is more practical than shoving them in the bags while checking out.
Then we come home, put the groceries away, and eat. Married life rocks.
