I remember when I started this blog, I hoped it would unearth my inner poet, and I would nobly impress myself with my eloquent thoughts and deep thinking.
What is has revealed, however, is the nonsense running through my brain in the evenings, exhausted from work and not-as-much-sleep as I should be getting. Here is a sampling of tonight's nonsense:
*Spinning class is fun. Way fun. Just wish I hadn't thrown my neck out in the process (how do you throw your neck out riding a stationary bike?) Thank goodness for gym saunas. And husbands who are good at massaging.
*Christmas presents - figuring them out, buying them, while staying in budget. A good task, and one we're almost on top of this year. In fact, the mere act of thinking about them this early is nigh near shocking for me. Never have done that before!
*All day I think about how much cleaning I could get done in the evening, and then I get home, and think about all the relaxing I can get done in the evening! Maybe I should think more about relaxing while at work, then I'll want to clean when I get home....
*Life is great. Glad we weren't hit by an asteroid today - even though that wasn't possible. Hope the astronomers got some good pictures of it.
Thanks for reading my nonsense!
